Grandparents
The boys love having grandparents so close. They always have such a good time with them. Paul loves to try new things. Here are some pictures of him helping my mom make homemade frosting.

Here are some pictures of Peter playing with grandpa.
And of course, a small movie.

Happy Mother's Day
"Her children rise up and bless her; Her husband also, and he praises her saying, "Many daughters have done nobly, But you excel them all."
Proverbs 31:28-29
I wanted to wish all of you a happy mother's day. May God bless you all out there and give you strength for each new day. I know that you are all blessed just as I am and that we all have our good days and bad days, but I think that we would all agree that we would not trade our places for anything in the world. Thank you for all that you do and will do. It does not go unappreciated. God bless.

Some Comforting News
Joshua and I were talking to a RN from our church about abortions and how they are affecting him and his hospital. He is a Christian and he works at a Catholic hospital. If you have not read my post about live abortions, clickhere. The good news is although they are doing the live abortions at some hospitals, they are still allowing the nurses to have the freedom to choose if they want to participate in this or not. There is no law as of yet. Another things that is great is if there ever comes a time where they are not given a choice than the Catholic hospitals (because they are so against abortion) will close their door and leave the property. They will not sell or anything like that. There are also some other religious hospitals that said that they would close down as well. Let's continue to pray for our President, our country, and that people would be willing to make a stand for what they believe is right. I was greatly encouraged by this because this is something that is very close to my heart. I cry everytime I think about it. Praise God that something is going to be done and that He has still proven that He is in control.

Spring
While I enjoyed the winter here in Colorado, I am so looking forward to pulling out those short-sleeve shirts and going barefoot. Spring is beautiful here. Here are some pictures of Spring around our home.

Please Pray For Our Country and President
A friend of ours sent us an email the other day. It was about live abortions. I don't know if you know anything about these, but it is truly heart breaking. I can't even think about it without crying. Basically what they do is if the baby lives through the abortion, inside the mom, they induce labor. Then they are taken to a room that has dirty linens and waste in there, and are left to die. President Obama has allowed this to happen, when so many people were for saving the babies. Please pray for our country. I can't believe that we allowed it to come this far, what are we thinking!!! God have mercy on our souls and our nation. Please pass this movie on and let others know what is happening.
I Am Truely Blessed
Lately I have been following many blogs where the families are going through a hard time. I don't mean financially, I mean that they have lost a loved one (husband, son, or daughter), or they are fighting the battle with them. It started with The Lamberths. She lost her husband to a dirt bike accident. You can read about her by clicking on the link. Then I noticed another lady writing on the Lamberths blog, she too lost her husband and is raising kids alone. You can read about her here. That in turn lead to several other blogs. There are several about children with different illnesses. Kayleigh is a little girl who was born early and has no brain functions. There are also: Maddie; Peyton; and Stellan. These are just a few out there. I was surprised to see how many blogs there where of parents with kids who are ill for life. The thing that surprised me the most was that they were Christians and that so many people were praying for them and supporting them. To God be the glory! It makes me feel very blessed that He chose to give me healthy kids, I know that it can change at any minute. I just hope that I can be strong like them when the time come. If you have a minute, read the blogs to see the wonderful things that God has done.
