Ringing In The New Year
We did not do much for New Years. When you become a parents, staying up late goes out the window. There is no way that you could stay up, expect to sleep in, and get up with kids in the morning. We did spend time as a family and play some games, but we all went to bed early. The next day Joshua did the poppers with the boys and they had alot of fun doing that. Here are some pictures and movies of the boys and Joshua.

Our New Years
We hope that you all had a great New Year and are enjoying it. Our New Years started with my parents getting of work at 3, well they tried to get off at 3. They had the most customers come in that day than any other day that month (December). We had a nice dinner planned, but we were not able to eat together as a family. My parents and Joshua came home about 5:30. We played with the kids and then played some games after the boys went to bed. I do not stay up late anymore with the boys being here. It makes it very hard to get up in the morning, so we all went to bed at 10:00 and wished each other a Happy New Year. The next day we spent time taking down our Christmas decorations. And we also relaxed and I spent some of the day getting ready for Paul's birthday party. Then we had Kramer Bookman over for lunch. We had a wonderful time fellowshiping and playing games. He is good at playing the piano and Joshua and Kramer played a piece together (Kramer- piano and Joshua- violin). Then we just relaxed and went to bed early. I did not take many pictures or movies, so here are the ones that I did take. I hope you enjoy them.

Our New Year
We did not do much for our New Year. When you become parents, you can't stay up late and expect to sleep in with two kids who like to get up early. My parents and Joshua came home early and we all went out to eat. Then we came home and played games. When the boys were in bed, we continued to play games until 11:00 pm. Then we all decided to go to bed so that we would have energy for the next day (which they had off). We spent that day doing things around the house: putting away decorations, finishing the boys room, crafts, and working on the garage. We did have a nice breakfast and lunch together as a family. We had fun spending time as a family and getting things done around the house. We also feel very blessed being together as a family.
