Backyard Fun

We try to let the kids go out as much as possible before the weather changes and also for the exercise. The kids sure do like going outside to play (as you can tell by the pictures I posted). Stella is at such a fun age and I love to take pictures of her, when she lets me and does not move towards the camera. Here are some cute pictures of Stella.

Joshua and I are thinking about having Paul start taking some sport classes. Right now we are working with him by ourselves. While we were outside, Joshua tossed the ball to Paul and had him practice hitting. Peter thought it looked like so much fun that he wanted to play. They both had a great time.

Pinecone Fun!

Its about time for me to start getting ready for winter. I usually gather pine cones and dip them in wax to make fire starters. This year I don't have much time so the kids have been going for walks and bringing me pine cones. It is so cute as Stella loves to go for walks now. She loves to sit in the wagon and get covered with pine cones! They all have so much fun going on walks!

Carving Pumpkins With Family

This is one of my favorite family traditions. This year we were only able to get three pumpkins, but we sure did have fun carving them. Joshua does the carving and I help with the cleaning out the inside. Joshua carved a smile for Paul (at his request), a helicopter for Peter, and a crown for his princess Stella. Paul wanted a smile on his pumpkin just like in one of his books. Hope you enjoy these pictures.

Family Work Day

We are busy getting our house and yard ready for winter. We so love that we don't have to do anything to it during the winter. One day we fixed the sprinklers and other things around the yard. The boys love being able to be outside and having family days. My dad and Joshua made a hole for the sprinklers and the boys loved to go in and out of the hole. They also liked to play in the wheelbarrow full of dirt. Here are some pictures of our day.

Red Rock Canyon & Family Pictures

I love when fall comes around the corner. That means that we get to drive to some pretty place and take family pictures. This is something that I look forward to all year long. We chose a different place from where we had been taking pictures before. We ate there at the place and then took a few pictures before going on a hike. The boys loved it there. They love to be able to walk around and explore. I hope you enjoy these pictures!

Welcome Fall

Airshow

We took the boys to an airshow for the first time in a long time. We were so glad to have Grandpa Bill there to go with us. My parents and sister went too until they had to go to work. They took Stella with them because it was really loud there. We did not stay there the whole time, but we had alot of fun (and sunburned). The boys really enjoyed seeing the airplanes.

Fun With Grandpa Bill

We had a great time with Grandpa Bill being here. The boys really enjoyed him and were sorry to see him go. Joshua and the boys took Grandpa Bill to one of their favorite spots, the airport.

They also took him to the top of Pikes Peak, an elevation of 14,110 feet!!! They enjoyed themselves, but they sure did not feel good after going up there.

They also took him to Focus On The Family.

They all had fun playing at the park.
