Our Thanksgiving

We had a great Thanksgiving. First we were invited to spend the day with friends from church, but their son ended up getting sick and we did not want the boys to get sick. We made a wonderful breakfast of french toast, bacon, and eggs. Then we all pulled boxes of Christmas stuff from the attic. The boys loved to help get all the Christmas stuff out and listen to Christmas music. We did end up being able to get the house decorated with all the help.
It was so cold outside that we did try to hang some of our Christmas light, but we ended up getting too cold. So we decided to wait until after the boys naps. Joshua, Paul, and I went out in 30 degree weather to hang up light. We did get most of them hung.
We made a wonderful Thanksgiving dinner and ate together. Paul and Peter had a lot of fun as well.
We had a very blessed Thanksgiving spending time with our family. Happy Thanksgiving!!!!

Thanksgiving Day

The whole week started with the boys having a runny nose and alittle bit of a stuffy one. Then Joshua got sick on Wednesday and stayed home two days to rest so that he would be feeling better for Thanksgiving. It was nice to have him home, but it made it alot of work for me. He did feel alot better on Thanksgiving and we had the Bookman's over from our church. We had such a wonderful day. The boys went down for their nap before we ate and it was so nice to be able to eat and not have to worry about what the boys were doing. I have not been able to do that for a long time. After we ate dinner and desert, everyone went to the park to play football. That was the high light of the whole day, to play football. We even had to go out and buy a football. Joshua had a great time, he was sore after. I stayed home because the boys had just gotten up and needed to eat. The boys and I stayed home until everyone else came home. Then everyone visited and played. It was a great time and the boys sure did have fun. The boys were so tired when it was time for bed. We were all tired. We hope that you all had a blessed Thanksgiving. I hope you enjoy these pictures and movies. The boys with friends

Peter eating pumpkin pie

Peter loved the pumpkin pie. He does not usually like to eat with his hands. I thought that he was so cute about how he went after it.
I thought this was a cute movie of Paul and his friend. He loves to play with her.

Just A Note

Hi everyone,
can you believe that we are in November already?!!!! I sure can't. This year is just flying by. Soon, all too soon, it will be my dad's birthday, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years, and then the month of June. It seems like it is always full speed ahead as soon as we reach November. I know that I am going to be very busy getting ready for Christmas. Oh, I also wanted you to know that it might take me alittle longer to blog as my sister's computer has something wrong with it, so please hang in there with me. I do try to keep up my blog for you all. I hope that you are all doing well and that you have a blessed holiday season with those you love.

Blessings,

Happy Thanksgiving

We hope that you all have a very blessed Thanksgiving. What a special time to get together with family and friends to celebrate all the things that God has given us and will continue to give us. I hope that we will remember to give thanks not just today, but continually throughout the year. We are very thankful for each and everyone of you! It is very different celebrating Thanksgiving here. We are so far away from everything that we have known. We miss all our friends and family, but God has blessed us with a new church family and friends. We have much to be thankful for-especially being able to move out here as a family (beside what God has done for us). We are very thankful to be here. We will be eating at our Pastor's house and then spending a majority of the day at the new house unpacking. We hope you all have a blessed Thanksgiving with family and friends. Let us thank God for His many blessings- both now and in the future.
Happy Thanksgiving from all of us!!!!
