Grandma Cathy's Visit
Grandma Cathy came out on July 2 to spend some time with us and to see our newest family member. On Sunday was the church picnic (see the post on how we spent our 4th of July), We had a great time and Grandma Cathy was able to go to church with us and then able to visit with our friends at the church. She was also able to spend time with Paul and Peter there. We had a very relaxing 4th of July as we stayed home for most of the day (see also our 4th of July post). I wanted to have some days to be able to relax and not do anything and let Grandma Cathy spend some time with the boys. Joshua and I decided to let the boys stay up to see the fireworks this year. They had a great time, but were very tired after wards. The next thing that Joshua, the boys, Stella, Grandma Cathy, and Auntie Mar all went to the zoo. Fay and I stayed home as I am not ready to go out and about yet. They had a great time and it was nice to have it quiet.
Otherwise we just relaxed and did not do much else. Grandma Cathy enjoyed being able to snuggle with her newest granddaughter.
We sure did enjoy Grandma Cathy's visit and can't wait until the next time that she comes out to visit us!

Family Day
My parents decided to take Monday off for the 4th. It is always nice to have them take time off because we are all very busy with the shop and life. We all decided to go to the zoo. Joshua and I decided to renew our passes to the zoo because the boys love it there so much. We all had a great time and Stella was a great baby.

An Outing At The Zoo
Today we adventured out to go to one of our favorite place- the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo. Our season passes are almost up and we were thinking about renewing them for another year, but we weren't sure how Stella would do. She has been a very easy going baby, but we weren't sure how things would work out with a stroller, eating, and if she would sleep while we were there. Stella did perfectly and slept the whole time while we were there. There was alot of people at the zoo, but its so big that we don't have to worry about huge crowds of people. The boys love being able to go to the zoo and look at all the animals. They were able to feed the giraffe's and ride the train that was there. The nice thing is that the rides and feeding the giraffe's is not expensive. We had a great time at the zoo.

Paul and Peter
The weather has been SO nice here lately, in the 60's. Joshua and I decided to take the boys to the zoo yesterday, we have not been for a long time do to sickness and bad weather. I am so glad that spring is around the corner. The warm weather reminds me that winter will soon be over (although I am not holding my breath as it is suppose to snow on Friday). The boys loved being outside and walking around the zoo. For Easter I had bought the boys shirts, hats, and small stuffed animals from the zoo, I gave them the things yesterday so that they could enjoy them and bring them to the zoo. They sure did look cute. Here are some pictures of my boys.

Warmer Days
We have been having some warmer days, and it has been very nice as far as getting out of the house. It has been in the 50's and I have been trying to get the boys out. I would have let them play in the backyard, but we still have snow, which presents a problem because they would get all wet and cold. So I have been taking them out in the stroller and for small walks where they walk.
Then since the weather was going to be even nicer on Joshua's day off, we decided to take advantage (especially since it will not last) and go to the zoo. We had a great time at the zoo and the boys love to get out. It makes them last longer when we have to stay home (less fussy for mommy). The weather is suppose to change and there is a 30 percent chance of snow again tomorrow. Winter is not over yet.

Welcome Fall
As many of you know from my last post, we are having some very unusual weather. We have been having cold temperates in the 40's and 30's and even some snow. It has been very windy here as well. We don't usually get snow until around Halloween, so this is very unusual. I have to say that I am loving this weather very much. Here are some pictures to celebrate fall coming.

Family Day
We took the time on Sunday to spend time as a family. My parents and sister had never been to the zoo, so we decided to all go. We had so much fun and the boys loved the attention and being able to show grandpa and grandma the sights. We saw and feed the graiffes, then went to go feed the birds. That was followed by walking around and then going home before it rained. It was very fun and relaxing. We had a fire going and ate pizza. It was the end of a perfect day.

Another Day At The Zoo
We went to the zoo again yesterday. It is very nice to be able to have passes to go whenever you want. I know that it would be hard to have to buy a ticket everytime just to go in and know that you could only stay a few hours. We try to leave early and get there so that we can look at some animals before we have to go home for naps.
Hi mom, we're ready to go to the zoo and we are so excited about going!!!!!

We got to see some animals that we were not able to see the last time that we went.
These are for you, William.
Paul petting a baby wombat.
This place was cool. You went in and there was tons of birds flying around. They even had it where you could feed the birds. The boys liked this place and looking at all the birds.

We also saw some sea otters, mountain loins, and a snow lepard (sorry the pictures did not turn out :( ).
Joshua and Paul looking at the mountain lions.
We also saw a moose.
They had a bald eagle exibit.
Grizzly Bears.
Porcupines. Did you know that they climbed tress????
