Snow Storms

The other day we were hit by a pretty big snow storm, about 2 inches. We were all thinking that we were done with snow for the winter, but we ended up getting snow again. The nice thing was that it was a wet snow and when it was done and melting the snow watered the grass and made everything so green and pretty. We have been getting little snow storms since, but the good thing is is that it will soon be gone for good.

Cold Weather

We have been hit by some cold weather, reminding me that winter is not over yet. The past snow storm that we had has left us with lots of snow in our backyard. While the sun is out and the weather has warmed up a bit to melt the snow, the freezing low temperatures of night have caused alot of the snow to harden again. I looked out the kitchen window the other day and saw this:

I have been seeing alot of water dripping onto the window and I was amazed to find this was the cause. We have alot of frozen water around the house as some came down off the roof and scared me. We are suppose to get another snow storm this weekend.

Frosty Day

We have been having some colder weather. On Sunday this is what it looked like outside. It has been warming up the past few days.

We have been getting different snow storms coming through. Although we have not had many inches of snow. Here is what the yard looked like when I woke up on Thursday.

Sweater, hats, scarves, and long-sleeve shirts all have to do with winter and snow. We have been getting snow for the past few day (although none of it has stuck). It has been very exciting to get some cooler weather and pull out all the sweaters and long-sleeve shirts. Boy, have I had fun dressing the boys. I am hoping that this year they will like the snow and want to play in it. Yeah, snow has come!!!

Welcome Fall

As many of you know from my last post, we are having some very unusual weather. We have been having cold temperates in the 40's and 30's and even some snow. It has been very windy here as well. We don't usually get snow until around Halloween, so this is very unusual. I have to say that I am loving this weather very much. Here are some pictures to celebrate fall coming.
