37 Weeks

I am now 38 weeks, but things have been so crazy as we are getting ready for the birth of the baby and Stella somehow got in contact with the measles. We are doing okay, just staying home and have to see if the boys are going to get it. Please pray for us (it won't affect my pregnancy).

The Girls Room

Here are pictures of the girls room- Stella's and Fay's. We had to touch up paint and redecorate, but I think it turned out really cute. Joshua and I have been busy getting the room set up. We had the crib all set up, the clothes out, the closet rearranged, and we are set. We are so ready for this baby to come!

Boy Or Girl?

Sorry to be so late on this post. We have known about the gender (or at least have an idea) for awhile. But first, a picture of the new little blessing. This was taken awhile ago when we first found out that we were being blessed again.
We are 75% sure that this one will be a girl. I am getting excited about the new baby. I am also excited about having two girls and two boys. And before you ask if we are done having kids, the only answer that I can give you is that Joshua and I are waiting on God and His perfect timing for that. If He wants us to have more kids, then we will. And the baby's name, you ask. Our girl name is:

And if we have a boy, then Phillip Lawrence. But I am making preparations for a girl. We shall see at the end of June.

Update On Us

Here's what we have been up to lately:

Paul and Peter: Peter is talking more and more, not always clearly, but at least he is talking. Paul's vocabulary is expanding and he loves doing school with mommy. Paul loves to say hi to the baby in mommy's tummy and he often says that he has a baby in his tummy. Both of the boys have been very helpful in taking care of Stella and doing things around the house. Paul and I are enjoying the time we get to spend together during Awanas.

Stella: Stella will be 9 months on the 2nd of March. I can't believe how big she is getting. Time goes by so fast with the more kids you have. She is doing the army crawl, but will get up on her hands and knees to start. She can sit up by herself from the crawling position. Stella also loves to eat cheerios and crackers, when she has the chance to and her older brothers don't eat them all. She is getting two of her top teeth. We are enjoying having a little girl.

Joshua and Amy: We are busy with kids, getting things done around the house, and re-organizing Stella's room. We are 75% sure that we are having another girl and are happy about having two girls close together. Joshua and I have decided on Fay Estelle for this little ones name. We did not think that we would have to re-do Stella's room any time soon and this is ending up being a big project. I am trying to get as much done before the little one comes. Joshua is also busy with the cell phone shop and violin shop.

Bob and Marie: They are enjoying the grandkids and are a big help with them. We are finishing another part of the basement to make a bigger room for my sister, so Joshua and my dad moved our washer and dryer over out of that room. We are enjoying doing things on the house on the weekend as a family. Bob and Marie are getting more involved at church. They are involved in the mission committee and they just recently joined the choir. Otherwise they are busy with the shop and family.

Marlene: She is busy with helping me with the kids, cooking dinner, cleaning the house, and helping where she can. She does have time to attend a Bible study on Tuesday nights and hang out with friends. Marlene is a big help when I am feeling tired and need a nap, or just need to get out of the house to run an errand or go for a walk. The boys love being able to spend time with their auntie, so does Stella.

Unexpected News

Can anyone guess from this title what I am able to say?

If you guessed that I am pregnant, then you guessed right. It was very unexpected as I have just had Stella. I did not even know that I was pregnant as I was going through a stressful time of the kids and my being sick. As it turns out, I am 16 weeks pregnant and due June 28. So Stella and this one will be very close. We ask that you would pray for us during this time, for the delivery, and after.

Preparing For Baby- Part 3

The baby's room/guest room. We have been having fun decorating the room getting it ready for our little girl. We still don't know when she is going to come. The midwife says that I can have her any day now. I am having some pain (contractions), but nothing really heavy or to think that I am in labor. The midwife came over and felt my stomach and said that it felt like I was having contractions because my stomach was so tense. I have also been dilating. We just keep hoping and knowing that God knows the best time for our baby to be born. We will let you know when that day comes. Here are pictures of the baby's new room.

Preparing For Baby- Part 2

Have you ever noticed how kids like baby toys after they are too big for them?

35 Weeks

I am doing good health wise. I can't believe that this baby is going to be coming very, very soon. We are so excited!!! I am tiring very easily and don't have much energy, but that is to be expected for being 8 months pregnant. I am starting to feel big as well. Please pray that I will continue to have the health and energy to take care of my family and my two active little boys.

I know that I look big and I feel really big. I am measuring about 2 to 3 inches more than how many weeks I am. I am 35 weeks so I should be measuring around 35 to 36 inches. The midwife does not think that I am going to go to my due date (June 5) because the baby is low and how big my stomach is measuring. I could have the baby in 2 1/2 weeks!!!! We are so excited and can't wait for the arrival of our new little one. We will keep you posted as time goes on.

28 Weeks

Time is passing so quickly around here. Joshua and I painted the nursery for the baby and I have been running around crazy trying to take care of things before the baby comes. The baby is kicking more and more. We are 90% sure that it is a girl, we won't be having any more ultrasounds done. Boy or girl we will still love this baby. I feel like I am getting bigger and bigger, its probably just me though. I am nearing my last trimester. I am so excited!!!!

My Big Helper

I have been busy getting ready for the new baby and the boys have been getting in on it too. My mom and I started to look through all the girl clothes that we had and the boys loved to try on the hats and look at the clothes. Then we brought over a dresser that we will be using as a changing table and to store clothes. Paul saw the clothes in the bassinet and he started to put the clothes in the drawers. It was so cute to see them excited about the new baby and being able to help out.
