Private Blogging

As you have noticed, I had to change some settings on my blog. I have been having some people who I don't know look at my blog, and I want this blog to be just for friends and family. I appreciate you who are willing to sign in to look at my blog, and I am sorry if this is any inconvenience to any of you. I hope you understand the reasoning behind my making this a private blog. Thanks for understanding.

I've Been Blogging For A Year

It has been one year since I have started this blog. So much has happened. This was around the time that we had decided to move to Colorado. We were cramming in as many things as we could. We were packing and visiting with all our friends and family before we left. We did not know when we would be seeing them again. I had started this blog to keep everyone in touch with us. I wanted to keep everyone up to date on us and the boys. You are all very important to us. We were also expecting our second son to be born soon. This was a very fun time, but it makes moving plans more difficult. I remember how stressful it was for us, but so many of you came along side us and helped us by bringing meals, helping pack, and loading the trailer. We could not have made this move without your help. Thank you and we love you all. I am so glad that we moved. It was so worth the stress. God has made everything beautiful in His time and this was part of His prefect will. I am so thankful for everything He has done, all of you, and being able to move out here. Thanks for being part of our lives and keeping in touch.

I Am Truely Blessed

Lately I have been following many blogs where the families are going through a hard time. I don't mean financially, I mean that they have lost a loved one (husband, son, or daughter), or they are fighting the battle with them. It started with The Lamberths. She lost her husband to a dirt bike accident. You can read about her by clicking on the link. Then I noticed another lady writing on the Lamberths blog, she too lost her husband and is raising kids alone. You can read about her here. That in turn lead to several other blogs. There are several about children with different illnesses. Kayleigh is a little girl who was born early and has no brain functions. There are also: Maddie; Peyton; and Stellan. These are just a few out there. I was surprised to see how many blogs there where of parents with kids who are ill for life. The thing that surprised me the most was that they were Christians and that so many people were praying for them and supporting them. To God be the glory! It makes me feel very blessed that He chose to give me healthy kids, I know that it can change at any minute. I just hope that I can be strong like them when the time come. If you have a minute, read the blogs to see the wonderful things that God has done.
