Update On Us
Here's what we have been up to lately:
Paul and Peter: Peter is talking more and more, not always clearly, but at least he is talking. Paul's vocabulary is expanding and he loves doing school with mommy. Paul loves to say hi to the baby in mommy's tummy and he often says that he has a baby in his tummy. Both of the boys have been very helpful in taking care of Stella and doing things around the house. Paul and I are enjoying the time we get to spend together during Awanas.
Stella: Stella will be 9 months on the 2nd of March. I can't believe how big she is getting. Time goes by so fast with the more kids you have. She is doing the army crawl, but will get up on her hands and knees to start. She can sit up by herself from the crawling position. Stella also loves to eat cheerios and crackers, when she has the chance to and her older brothers don't eat them all. She is getting two of her top teeth. We are enjoying having a little girl.
Joshua and Amy: We are busy with kids, getting things done around the house, and re-organizing Stella's room. We are 75% sure that we are having another girl and are happy about having two girls close together. Joshua and I have decided on Fay Estelle for this little ones name. We did not think that we would have to re-do Stella's room any time soon and this is ending up being a big project. I am trying to get as much done before the little one comes. Joshua is also busy with the cell phone shop and violin shop.
Bob and Marie: They are enjoying the grandkids and are a big help with them. We are finishing another part of the basement to make a bigger room for my sister, so Joshua and my dad moved our washer and dryer over out of that room. We are enjoying doing things on the house on the weekend as a family. Bob and Marie are getting more involved at church. They are involved in the mission committee and they just recently joined the choir. Otherwise they are busy with the shop and family.
Marlene: She is busy with helping me with the kids, cooking dinner, cleaning the house, and helping where she can. She does have time to attend a Bible study on Tuesday nights and hang out with friends. Marlene is a big help when I am feeling tired and need a nap, or just need to get out of the house to run an errand or go for a walk. The boys love being able to spend time with their auntie, so does Stella.

Valentine's Day
Our Valentine's Day started on Saturday, as our church had a dinner served for couples and singles. It was a fundraiser for our missions trip which will be going to the Philippines soon. Joshua and I decided to attend and ask my sister to watch the kids, yes all three. This would be the first time that Joshua and I would be out by ourselves since Stella was born, almost a year. We did not take any pictures, but we sure did enjoy ourselves and had a great time. The kids were well behaved too.
Since our family worked on Monday which would be Valentine's Day, we decided to have our family celebration on Sunday. So after church we made a special lunch/dinner. We were all stuffed by the time we were done. Stella was soon to go down for a nap, so I gave her her gift and she enjoyed that for awhile. The boys were soon up and it was so nice outside, that we got them dressed and out of the house. They sure did enjoy that as they have missed being able to go outside and play. We all enjoyed being outside (expect Stella). Soon it was time for dinner (at least for the boys) and we all went inside. After dinner the boys were able to play with their gifts and other toys. On the actual day, I dressed Stella up in a cute outfit to celebrate Valentine's Day. She was so cute and I made sure that I had some pictures! She loves having her pictures taken. She is such a ham, like her dad and brothers. We had a wonderful Valentine's Day and it was great to spend time as a family and outside.

Funny Sayings and Doings
The other day Stella was starting to get tired and ready for her nap. I or my sister will usually rock her and then lay her down. We had said this out loud and Paul said that he wanted to rock Stella. So I brought her blanket and Stella over to the rocking chair and Paul rocked her. During this time or "rocking" my mom put some blankets over the table that I had set up for sowing so that the boys could play underneath it (I hope this is making sense). Paul then claimed that Stella was unrockable (mainly because he wanted to play under the table with Peter. I took Stella from Paul and Paul went to go play with Peter.

Paul's 4th Birthday
We had Paul's birthday party on Feb. 5 because it worked out better for all our friends to come over on that day. I had asked Paul what he wanted to do for his birthday and he wanted an animal birthday party with horses, giraffes, and tigers. We already did a zoo birthday party so I decided to do a farm party which we had not done before. I had alot of fun getting different ideas for this party. Joshua had fun too as he decided to make a barn out of cardboard. I think the party turned out really well. Here are some pictures.
On the Friday before, my mom and I made his cake. It was really more my mom as I had a cold and did not feel like making it. Paul helped as I watched, wishing that I felt better and would feel good for the party. We tinted the frosting green to make grass and then Paul had alot of fun putting the animals on his cake and a number 4 candle. The day of the party, the boys had fun as we prepared the house cleaning and getting the tractor out that Grandpa Bill and Grandma Cathy sent us for Paul's birthday as few years back. They also had fun climbing in and out of the barn. While the boys were napping we finished the decorations and rested for awhile. When the boys were up from their naps, Joshua let them help fill balloons and then put animal faces on them. Soon it was time for the guests to arrive. The guest arrived and all the kids went over to the tractor and barn that we had set up. They all had a great time playing with all the things. As soon as everyone arrive, we started the first game which was the kids finding animals that were hidden around the room. They all seem to like that game. Then we played pin the tail on the horse and fill the barn, which is basically a bean bag toss game. My mom was busy in the kitchen getting the snacks ready and we were all ready to eat. We had a great time of fellowship with everyone. Then we played our last game, musical milk buckets. Musical chairs, but sitting down and with a bucket (a combination of hot potato and musical chairs). We gathered everyone together and took family pictures in front of the barn. Then it was time for cake and ice cream and presents. We all sat around talking for awhile before everyone left.
We had a wonderful birthday celebration with Paul. We are so blessed to have another year with him. Happy Birthday, Paul!
