Happy Mother's Day

I wanted to wish all you mother's out there a very happy and blessed Mother's Day. This is truly a special time to celebrate the love and all the hard work that Mother's do all year around. I know that I never fully appreciated my mom until I started having children of my own. What a special place she has in the lives of her husband and children, God certainly knew what He was doing when He made mothers. I hope you all have a wonderful day and know how much you are all loved.

35 Weeks

I am doing good health wise. I can't believe that this baby is going to be coming very, very soon. We are so excited!!! I am tiring very easily and don't have much energy, but that is to be expected for being 8 months pregnant. I am starting to feel big as well. Please pray that I will continue to have the health and energy to take care of my family and my two active little boys.


I know that I look big and I feel really big. I am measuring about 2 to 3 inches more than how many weeks I am. I am 35 weeks so I should be measuring around 35 to 36 inches. The midwife does not think that I am going to go to my due date (June 5) because the baby is low and how big my stomach is measuring. I could have the baby in 2 1/2 weeks!!!! We are so excited and can't wait for the arrival of our new little one. We will keep you posted as time goes on.

Playing Outside

The day was just beautiful, in the 70's. My mom took the boys out after breakfast and they enjoyed digging in the dirt and pushing around dump trucks and other cars in the grass. They sure do like being outside. My mom came out later and put up a blanket on some chairs to make them a tent. The boys loved eating crackers and playing under the blanket. I love this time of year because it gets the boys out and I can do things that need to get done while being outside.

Playing With Blocks

My Uncle Dave sent the boys some blocks made out of foam. The boys have been having alot of fun playing with the block and the nice thing is that they won't get hurt if the blocks are thrown or if the boys fall on them. Joshua also enjoys playing with the block and building things for the boys. Here are some cute pictures of them playing with the blocks.

Animal Sounds

We have this book that goes over different animals and the sounds that they make. Peter was so quick at learning the sounds that the animal makes instead of the name that they are called. One of the animals in the book is a rooster. Peter is so cute making the sounds that I had to record him making the sound. So here it is.
