Harvest Fun

My mom has been wanting to decorate our front flower bed for quite awhile. If you don't remember what it looks like, here is a picture. She had decided that when fall came around that she would lay hay down and put pumpkins in the hay. The boys loved helping with this and making a mess. It looks really cute and they did such a great job. Our neighbor grew pumpkins this year and told us to bring the boys over to pick them, so one of the movies is of the boys picking the pumpkins. Snow Storm

We have been getting different snow storms coming through. Although we have not had many inches of snow. Here is what the yard looked like when I woke up on Thursday.

Falling Leaves

The trees in our backyard have been shedding their leaves like crazy. I love fall and when all the leaves fall. We never really had enough leaves to gather in a pile and play in in California, so I was very excited to see the large amount of leaves in our backyard. One day, even in the cold, I went outside with the boys and raked up leaves for them to play in. At first they were not too sure, but then they loved it. I am so glad that I took them outside. I got some really cute pictures.

Handymen

Men are very handy to have around. Especially if they are as cute as these two.

Red Rock Canyon

My mom and dad usually take Fridays off at the shop and they go out hiking or just looking around Colorado. They had found this great hiking place that was flat and that would be easy to take the boys on. We decided to go on a hike after church on my mom's birthday. The boys loved being able to walk and look around at everything. Peter especially loved it, he is my outdoors boy. The boys were tired after, but they managed to walk most of the way. They sure did look cute. And yes, it is cold outside. Its been in the 50's and 60's.
