Happy Birthday, Mommy!

Another year has gone by since my last birthday. Where has the time gone? I am very blessed to be able to celebrate another birthday with my family. There is so much to be thankful for. I am turning 25 this year, it does not bother me at all. I think that I am very blessed for being 25: I have been married for almost 4 years, I have two boys and one on the way, and I have been blessed to be alive for 25 years. There are so many reasons to be thankful, we are thankful for each of you.

Boy Or Girl?

On Jan. 20, we had an ultrasound done to tell us what the gender is of the baby. I had talked to Joshua about doing this and he agreed so that if it is a girl then we can be prepared. We were so excited about going into our midwife appointment. The baby is possibly a girl! We are going to have another ultrasound on Feb. 9 to confirm that it is a girl. We are very excited about possibly having a girl, but boy or girl we will love the new little one anyway. Sorry it took me so long to post this, I had a hard time getting our scanner to work.

Happy Birthday, Paul!

Happy Birthday my sweet, lovable Paul. I am so glad that you are apart of our family. I love your willingness to help and take care of Peter. You are so much fun to be around and you certainly have a love of life. I cannot imagine life without you. You are getting to be such a big boy, 3 years old!!! I am looking forward to all the years that we will have together to grow and learn together. Happy Birthday, Paul Eugene Blevins.

Paul's Birthday Party

We had a birthday party for Paul this Saturday. It was an airplane theme. He loves looking at airplanes and flying airplanes on the computer (I wounder where he gets his love of airplanes from?). Needless to say I have been busy since after Christmas getting ready for this party. We had several families from our church over and we played alot of different airplane games. Then we served hot dogs, mac and cheese, and sandwiches. We had some great fellowship while we ate. We had one more games to play with the kids, which was kind of active and the kids loved it. After that we had cake and ice cream. Paul opened his presents and then it was time for everyone to leave, being Saturday night. The games that we played were: decorate and see who could get their glider through the hoop; pin the propeller on the plane; and musical chairs(instead of chairs they had to sit on clouds while holding airplanes). I love the fact that you can Google any party theme and get some great ideas for parties. I sure was tired after the party and the boys had alot of fun. It was a fun way to celebrate Paul's 3rd birthday. Thanks for the cookie cutter, Grandma Cathy!!!

20 Weeks

Here is a picture of me at 20 weeks. I can't believe that I am already half way through the pregnancy. I am doing well and my eating has come back all the way. There still is certain foods that I cannot eat. I am also starting to feel the baby move, that is always exciting. We are going to find out the gender of the baby, so make sure that you look for that post coming soon.

Winter Is Not Over Yet

Just as we began to warm up again, I am reminded that winter is not over yet. We got a good storm that passed by and covered the ground again. The storm only lasted an half hour.

I Had A Hectic Day

Working In The Basement

We are currently working on adding on to our basement. With the new baby coming, my sister has decided to move down to the basement in order to make more room. So my dad and Joshua have been adding extra walls and enclosing one of the rooms downstairs. The boys have been having fun going down there and "helping" out. Warmer Days

We have been having some warmer days, and it has been very nice as far as getting out of the house. It has been in the 50's and I have been trying to get the boys out. I would have let them play in the backyard, but we still have snow, which presents a problem because they would get all wet and cold. So I have been taking them out in the stroller and for small walks where they walk.
Then since the weather was going to be even nicer on Joshua's day off, we decided to take advantage (especially since it will not last) and go to the zoo. We had a great time at the zoo and the boys love to get out. It makes them last longer when we have to stay home (less fussy for mommy). The weather is suppose to change and there is a 30 percent chance of snow again tomorrow. Winter is not over yet.
