Funny Sayings and Doings

The other day Stella was starting to get tired and ready for her nap. I or my sister will usually rock her and then lay her down. We had said this out loud and Paul said that he wanted to rock Stella. So I brought her blanket and Stella over to the rocking chair and Paul rocked her. During this time or "rocking" my mom put some blankets over the table that I had set up for sowing so that the boys could play underneath it (I hope this is making sense). Paul then claimed that Stella was unrockable (mainly because he wanted to play under the table with Peter. I took Stella from Paul and Paul went to go play with Peter.

Funny Sayings

As many of you know I love doing crafts, and my favorite store is Michaels. I love going to Michaels whenever I can. They were having a sale after valentine's day and I was going to go and use a coupon I had to pick up some stuff for next year and some things for Peter's birthday party. I had planned on going with Joshua to Walmart and then taking the boys myself to Michaels.

Me: Come on lets get ready to go on some errands. Mommy needs to go to Walmart and Michaels to pick up some things.
Paul: I like Michaels. (remembering all the craft stuff that we have gotten from Michaels for him and Peter to do). I want to go to Michaels instead of Walmart.
Me: Well, I need to go both places and Daddy is going to be going one of the places with us.
Paul: I like Michaels. I want to go to Michaels.

I laughed when I heard him saying this. I guess it runs in the family. When he gets older, I will probably be running to Michaels alot more. Paul loves to do crafts.

A Child's Prespective

Yesterday Joshua and I had some errands to run with the boys. We did some of our errands before the boys nap and had to run out again afterwards because we did not get all of them done. We had just finished our errands as the sun was setting when Paul noticed that the sun was setting.

Paul: Mommy the sun is going night, night.
Mommy: Yes Paul. The sun is going night, night.
Joshua: Paul, did you know that when the sun goes to see it sets in the east and when it wakes up it rises in the west? (pointing out the directions that the sun sets and rises in)
Paul: Yeah.
Joshua: (he thought he would quiz Paul and see if he would remember what he just said) Paul which direction does the sun rise?
Paul: The sun is still sleep, sleep daddy.

Joshua and I laughed when we heard this. It is amazing at what kids comprehend and remember. We hope you enjoyed this as much as we did.

Funny Story

Yesterday after dinner, the boys were playing in the kitchen coloring. The boys cups were on the table and Peter, who was sitting in Paul's chair, went to grab Paul's cup, which was still at his place. Paul usually throw's a big fit when Peter grabs his cup and drinks from it. So preparing myself, I preceded to tell Paul that it was okay that Peter drank out of his cup and that he needs to share with Peter.

Mom: Paul don't have a cow about Peter drinking out of your cup.

Paul: Moooo.

I hope that you enjoyed this. I could not help, but laugh when Paul answered me this way. He was totally fine with Peter drinking out of his cup, this time.
