Happy Birthday, Mommy!!!

This year I am going to be 26 years old. I have no problems with being almost 30. I feel very blessed in my life. I have a loving husband and 4 kids to care and love (well, almost 4 kids). I don't feel like I could be blessed any more than I am right now. I am thankful for being able to celebrate another year with my family.

Happy Birthday, Paul!!!!

Its hard to believe that my first born son is already 4 years old. It seems like yesterday we were bringing him home from the hospital. We enjoy every day that we have with him and are so blessed by him. Life would not be the same without our Paul. Happy Birthday Paul. We are so happy that you are our son.

Unexpected News

Can anyone guess from this title what I am able to say?

If you guessed that I am pregnant, then you guessed right. It was very unexpected as I have just had Stella. I did not even know that I was pregnant as I was going through a stressful time of the kids and my being sick. As it turns out, I am 16 weeks pregnant and due June 28. So Stella and this one will be very close. We ask that you would pray for us during this time, for the delivery, and after.

Ringing In The New Year

We did not do much for New Years. When you become a parents, staying up late goes out the window. There is no way that you could stay up, expect to sleep in, and get up with kids in the morning. We did spend time as a family and play some games, but we all went to bed early. The next day Joshua did the poppers with the boys and they had alot of fun doing that. Here are some pictures and movies of the boys and Joshua.

Our Children

These first two pictures are of the boys enjoying popcorn out of new bowl given to us for Christmas by a friend. They love popcorn!!!!Paul really loves taking care of and being with Stella. He is always asking me to let him hold her. I know this picture is blurry, but I love the special relationship they have.

Our Christmas

We had a very nice family Christmas. Uncle Tom came over on Christmas Eve after my parents picked him up after they got off work. The boys love playing with Uncle Tom and are so excited when he comes over. Uncle Tom is a good sport about things like that. We did not do a whole lot. We ate a nice diner and then my parents, Uncle Tom and the boys went to look at Christmas lights. On Christmas, we had a nice breakfast and then we all sat down and opened presents. The boys loved looking and playing in all the packages. They also liked playing with their new toys. The day was nice, so Joshua and I walked down to the park with the boys and let them play alittle. Then my parents, sister and Uncle Tom went to Garden of the gods and I was able to rest. We had a nice diner and spend the rest of the night at home. It was very relaxing and its always fun to spend time with family. We had a very blessed Christmas.

Happy New Year

Can you believe that we are about to start a new year? I sure can't. This year went by so fast. I think that the more kids that you have the faster time flies. Anyways, we hope that you all have a safe and blessed new year. May God bless you today and always. Happy New Year 2011!!!!!Photobucket

Grandma Cathy's Visit

We were very surprised to see Grandma Cathy at our door on a Saturday evening. She drove to Colorado with a friend of hers that has a sister who lives here. The boys were very excited to see her and they were able to stay up alittle later and visit with her. She was tired from her trip, so we all went to bed as soon as possible.
The next day we were ready to have some fun. Grandma Cathy did a craft with the boys and decorated gingerbread men. The boys love to do creative things like that. We even were able to open some Christmas presents. Sunday we had our church Christmas programs and Joshua played his violin that morning for both services. Grandma Cathy was so happy to be able to hear Joshua play his violin. That night we celebrated Auntie Mar's birthday with a nice dinner before everyone went back to church that night. We all went to be early that night.

On Monday, Daddy had to go to work for half of the day. We had fun though. We made sugar cookies, which is becoming a tradition, and did another craft with the kids. When Joshua came back home, we all decided to go out to eat at Cracker Barrel to celebrate Grandma Cathy's birthday since she will not be here with us. We had a great time looking in the gift shop and eating. Then I went home with Stella and the rest went to look at Christmas lights and run by the store for breakfast tomorrow. We had a great time.
The next day Grandma Cathy made Daddy his favorite breakfast- biscuits and gravy- Joshua sure did enjoy those. Then after cleaning up the kitchen, we finished opening up the presents and sat around talking. Daddy took everyone- except Stella and Mommy- to the airport to get the boys out alittle. While eating lunch, the boys enjoyed another craft with Grandma before going to bed. Daddy took Grandma to the shop to get a new phone for her friend during the boys nap time.
We even got to open Christmas presents with Grandma Cathy.
Grandma Cathy left the next day because we were going to get some snow and she wanted to get going before the roads were too bad. We were sad to see her go, but we look forward to her next visit.
