School Time

We started preschool with Paul and Peter this September. Both boys love doing school and usually ask if we are doing to do school today. They are so much fun to teach and are learning so fast!

Park Fun

We are not going to have many more days like this, so we are taking full advantage of them. Our weather is turning already with the feel of Fall being in the air. Also I have not even tried to venture out with just me and my sister- unless Joshua was at home to help with the kids. I did not think that I was up to it and ready. So the past few weeks my sister and I have gone to the park and different places with the kids and it has been alright and easy to handle. We hope to go more places during the winter to keep the kids occupied. My mom and sister surprised us by meeting Joshua and I at the park the other day. We had so much fun being able to be outside and enjoy the day.

Water Balloons

It seems like the boys are always asking to play in the water whether it is hot or not. This was done over a weekend when Grandma and Grandpa were home and it was hot outside. Stella does not like playing in the water, mabey next year. She did enjoy holding and carrying the water balloons all around. The boys have so much fun playing in the water whether its the sprinkler or with water balloons. The weather is going to be changing for fall and it will be a sad day when they can't play in the water anymore.

Grandma Cathy's Visit

Grandma Cathy came out on July 2 to spend some time with us and to see our newest family member. On Sunday was the church picnic (see the post on how we spent our 4th of July), We had a great time and Grandma Cathy was able to go to church with us and then able to visit with our friends at the church. She was also able to spend time with Paul and Peter there. We had a very relaxing 4th of July as we stayed home for most of the day (see also our 4th of July post). I wanted to have some days to be able to relax and not do anything and let Grandma Cathy spend some time with the boys. Joshua and I decided to let the boys stay up to see the fireworks this year. They had a great time, but were very tired after wards. The next thing that Joshua, the boys, Stella, Grandma Cathy, and Auntie Mar all went to the zoo. Fay and I stayed home as I am not ready to go out and about yet. They had a great time and it was nice to have it quiet.

Otherwise we just relaxed and did not do much else. Grandma Cathy enjoyed being able to snuggle with her newest granddaughter.
We sure did enjoy Grandma Cathy's visit and can't wait until the next time that she comes out to visit us!

Our 4th of July

Our 4th started on Sunday as our church had a picnic in the afternoon. I have not been out of the house much since having Fay and I really wanted to go out and fellowship with friends. So we were able to drag everyone to the picnic. My sister took Fay and held and cared for her so that I would not have to. Grandma Cathy helped with the boys feeding them and also took them to go and play in the bouncers that they had there. Joshua took care of Stella, so it was very relaxing for me. We had a great time playing, talking and eating with everyone. At one point in the afternoon the clouds started to roll in and it started to down pour. We all scrambled around gathering kids and headed to the car. Except for the rain, it was a great relaxing afternoon.

On the 4th we decided to have a nice quite day at home relaxing and playing. In the morning the boys wanted to play in the water (sprinkler). They love to pull toys in and get them all wet and run through the sprinklers. I had bought a swim suit for Stella and put her in it. She did not mind it for the most part, only when it came to crawling around did she complain. She did not really like the water either. Stella preferred to stay where mommy and daddy were. We all took naps in the afternoon, did an easy lunch, and read to the boys. I bought the cutest shirt (matching) for the girls. They are pink and say red, white, and cute. The boys also had patriotic shirts. So of course I had to get some pictures of those.

We Love John Deere!

My dad's aunt and uncle live in Iowa. They have a farm there and also sell John Deere tractors and equipment. They have been having so much fun giving the boys things to do with tractors. That is the boys' new thing- tractors. My parents when back there this last July and brought back these things for the boys (my aunt and uncle also gave the boys some of the things). Even Stella likes the stuff. I am hoping to be able to travel there sometime next summer so that they can see a real farm and John Deere tractors up close. Enjoy!
